Nature Calls
Don't get caught with your pants down, when nature calls. When on a hunting trip, carry an Altoid tin stuffed with TP, plus matches or a lighter so you can burn it. Keep a small pencil sharpener and a pencil in your can. All you have to do is sharpen the pencil and collect the wood shavings to use as dry tinder. The pencil shavings lite easily.

Kinetic Energy
In the end, the measurable "power" of your new bow - it's total kinetic energy output - ultimately depends upon just two variables: the mass of the arrow and the speed of the arrow.  Kinetic energy of an arrow can be found by using the formula KE=(mv²)/450,240 where m is the mass of the arrow in grains and v is the velocity of the arrow in fps. 55 ft-lbs of KE would be plenty for most popular North American game species.

Tree Stand
Don't forget hunters, when you put up your tree stand, clear the path out that leads to it.

Hunting Clothes
Wear your hunting clothing while practicing in order to check for any loose fabric that the string might catch on.
